Scope
This standard specifies the general method for the bioconcentration test of chemicals in fish using a flow-through system, including test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data collection, and reporting. This standard is applicable to testing and evaluating the bioconcentration of stable organic chemicals with a log Pow value between 1.5 and 6.0, as well as testing and evaluating the bioconcentration of highly lipophilic organic chemicals with a log Pow value greater than 6.0.
