Scope

This standard specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for DC power supply equipment, including the classification of equipment, measurement conditions, product documentation, applicability, emission and immunity requirements, measurement uncertainty, standard compliance of emission measurements, and criteria for evaluating immunity test performance. This standard applies to DC power supply equipment that meets the following conditions: a) having a DC power supply port as defined in 3.1.5; b) a maximum rated voltage of no more than 1,500V DC. If there are no relevant EMC standards for a product or product category, this standard applies. This standard specifies test requirements and corresponding measurement/test methods for each port considered.
