Scope
This part of GB/T 18876 specifies the various steps for automatic image analysis determination of carbide liquid segregation and carbide banding in chromium bearing steel according to the technical standard GB/T 18254-2002. It also describes the methods of automatic image analysis determination of carbide banding in tool steel and bearing steel according to ISO 5949:1983, and of carbide banding in special steel according to SEP 1520-1998.
