Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and explanations, test principles, test equipment, samples, test procedures, and numerical rounding of test results for stress relaxation tests on metal materials.
This standard applies to the test method for the tensile stress relaxation performance of metal materials under constant strain and temperature conditions. The high-temperature annular bending stress relaxation test can also be carried out in accordance with this standard, as described in Appendix A.
