Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, structure, and marking of composite nacelle covers for wind power generation (hereinafter referred to as nacelle covers), as well as general requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, storage, installation, maintenance, and upkeep.
This standard applies to composite nacelle covers made using molding processes such as vacuum infusion and hand lay-up, which are used to protect grid-connected wind power generators.
