Scope
This document describes the method of measuring the fluorescence lifetime of semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) using time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC), including experimental steps, data processing, and measurement examples. TCSPC is suitable for measuring fluorescence lifetimes ranging from picoseconds to nanoseconds.
This document is applicable to stable dispersions of QDs, but not to solid samples.
