Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model compilation methods, basic parameters, performance requirements, and test methods for crawler-mounted tree diggers powered by diesel engines (hereinafter referred to as tree diggers). It also covers marking, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to chain-type, shovel-type, and arc-blade-type crawler-mounted tree diggers used for transplanting living trees with a root ball diameter of 600 mm to 1,600 mm.
