Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the residual content of anhydrous ammonia (liquid ammonia) in liquids by the gravimetric method.
This standard is applicable to products with a residual content of not less than 0.02%. It is an arbitration method for determining the residual content.
Note: If the residual content is lower than the lower limit of the determination method in this standard, it shall be reported as a mass fraction of <0.02%.
