Scope

This part of GB/T 8570 specifies two methods for determining the content of non-volatile oil in liquid anhydrous ammonia (liquid ammonia) at around 105 °C: the gravimetric method and the infrared absorption spectroscopy method.
When the oil content determined by the gravimetric method is less than 5 mg/kg, the test result shall be reported as "less than 5 mg/kg", or the measurement shall be carried out by the infrared absorption spectroscopy method.
