Scope
This standard specifies the relevant terms and definitions, manufacturing requirements, safety requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of incineration equipment for diseased livestock and poultry and their meat products.
This standard applies to animals and their products designated by the state as infected with diseases, carcasses of livestock and poultry that have died from disease, poisoning, or unknown causes, animals and products of diseased livestock and poultry that have been tested and found to be harmful to human and animal health, and livestock and poultry and their products that are required by the state to be incinerated for disposal.
