Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. for electric tubular drive devices used in roller blinds and similar equipment with a rated voltage of not more than 48 V for DC and not more than 250 V for single-phase AC.
This standard applies to electric motor-driven, cylindrical gear planetary reduction drive devices for roller blinds and similar equipment without driven components.
This standard does not apply to drive devices for residential vertical moving garage doors, gate, door and window drive devices, drive devices for buildings or heavy industries such as aircraft repair hangars, theater curtains, and drive devices for sliding or rolling flagpoles.
