Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, calculation principles, and calculation methods for the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limits of individual products in tantalum and niobium mining and mineral processing enterprises, as well as energy-saving management and measures.
This standard applies to mining and mineral processing enterprises primarily engaged in tantalum and niobium metals, and is used for the calculation, evaluation, and assessment of the energy consumption involved in mining, crushing, and concentrating tantalum and niobium ores until the production of qualified concentrate products.
This standard does not apply to mining and mineral processing enterprises that produce tantalum and niobium as by-products.
