Scope

This standard specifies the test requirements and test methods for synchronous motors without DC excitation windings. This standard applies to the testing methods of synchronous motors without DC excitation windings, including permanent magnet synchronous motors, hysteresis synchronous motors, and reluctance synchronous motors (excluding electromagnetic reduction permanent magnet synchronous motors). The following synchronous motors without DC excitation windings are referred to as "motors" in this standard.
