Scope

This document describes the basic requirements, test preparations, temperature rise tests, efficiency measurement, stall tests, and other test items for low-power permanent magnet synchronous motors. This document is applicable to low-power synchronous motors (which can start automatically and operate without a controller) with permanent magnet synchronous, hysteresis synchronous, and reluctance synchronous designs, but it is not applicable to electromagnetic reduction permanent magnet synchronous motors or synchronous motors with DC excitation windings.
