Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging, transportation, and accompanying documents for Ce-doped lanthanum silicate single crystals (Ce2xLu2(1x)SiO5, referred to as Ce:LSO) and Ce-doped yttrium lanthanum silicate single crystals (Ce2x(Lu1yYy)2(1-x)SiO5, referred to as Ce:LYSO). This standard applies to Ce:LSO and Ce:LYSO scintillation single crystals (hereinafter referred to as crystals). Other scintillation crystals can be used as reference for application.
