Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances of the cylindrical shaft protrusion (hereinafter referred to as the shaft protrusion) of rotating motors, the tolerance of the keyway symmetry, and the selection requirements.
This standard applies to the shaft protrusion at the torque transmission end of rotating motors, which is equipped with a single keyway and connected to the driven or driving machine by a flat key.
For shaft protrusions without keyways, with double keyways, and using other types of key connections, the keyway dimensions and tolerances should be specified in the standards of that type of motor.
