1.1 This part specifies a spectrophotometric method for determining the content of peroxides in industrial acrylonitrile. This part is applicable to industrial acrylonitrile samples with a content of peroxides (calculated as hydrogen peroxide) of 0.05 mg/kg to 1.0 mg/kg. 1.2 This part is not intended to address all safety issues related to its use. It is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health measures to ensure compliance with relevant national regulations.
