Scope

This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of personal dose equivalent Hp(10) and ambient dose equivalent H*(10) from external photon irradiation with a dose range of 0.01 mSv to 10 Sv and an energy range of 30 keV to 1.5 MeV, as well as the thermoluminescence dose measurement system with an energy range of 8 keV to 250 keV and a personal dose equivalent Hp(0.07).
This procedure is not applicable to devices used for personal monitoring with appendicular dosimeters, nor to the verification of devices for pulse X, gamma radiation, β radiation, neutron radiation, and cosmic ray radiation.
