Scope
This document specifies the procedures for field function tests and production capacity tests of combine harvesters.
This document defines the terminology and methods for testing the important characteristics of combine harvesters. This document includes function tests and production capacity tests. The evaluation of maneuverability and adjustment convenience, operating efficiency, and general handling characteristics is conducted during a harvest season, while the determination of grain loss rates and production capacity characteristics is carried out under specified conditions.
This document is applicable to the testing of self-propelled, trailed, direct harvesting, or pick-up harvesting combine harvesters for a variety of crops.
