GB 10395.7-2025 Agricultural machinery—Safety—Part 7:Combine harvesters,forage harvesters,cotton harvesters and sugar cane harvesters

Scope

This document, together with GB 10395.1, specifies the safety requirements for the design and manufacture of combine harvesters, forage harvesters, cotton harvesters, and sugarcane harvesters, as well as their acceptance criteria; it provides methods for operators to eliminate or reduce hazards arising from the intended use of these machines during normal operation and maintenance; it also stipulates the type of safety operation procedures information to be provided by manufacturers; and it outlines all major hazards, dangerous states, and dangerous events associated with combine harvesters, forage harvesters, cotton harvesters, and sugarcane harvesters under their intended use and under reasonably foreseeable misuse conditions (see Appendix A).
This document does not specify the design requirements for rollover protection devices (if the machine is equipped with them).
This document does not provide performance levels (or categories) for safety-related components of the control system that comply with GB/T 38874 or GB/T 16855.
Note: This document does not consider special requirements related to road traffic regulations.
This document applies to the design, manufacture, and inspection and testing of combine harvesters, forage harvesters, cotton harvesters, and sugarcane harvesters.
For hazards related to braking and steering, this document only applies to the ergonomic aspects of braking and steering (e.g., the position of the brake pedal and steering wheel), and does not include other aspects related to braking and steering.
For tractor-mounted harvesters, this document only applies to hazards related to the working process.
