Scope
This document describes the basic requirements for 5G base stations supporting lightweight (RedCap) in the frequency range below 6GHz, as well as the testing methods for functions such as MIMO enhancement, small packet transmission, coverage enhancement, support for terminal power saving, emergency calls, uplink enhancement, uplink data compression, and downlink 1024QAM modulation. This document is applicable to the research and development, production, and testing of base station equipment for 5G digital cellular mobile communication networks in the frequency range below 6GHz.
