GB/T 1687.3-2016 Rubber, vulcanized—Determination of temperature rise and resistance to fatigue in flexometer testing—Part 3:Compression flexometer(constant-strain type)
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 1687 specifies the determination method of temperature rise and fatigue resistance of vulcanized rubber in the constant strain amplitude compression flexure test. The flexure testing machine described in this part is the Goodrich flexure testing machine, and other equipment with equivalent performance can also be used.
This part is applicable to predicting the durability performance of rubber products (such as tires, rubber bearings, rubber supports, V-belts, and rope wheel insertion rings, etc.) when subjected to dynamic flexure. However, due to the large differences in the usage conditions of rubber products, it cannot be assumed that their usage characteristics have a simple correlation with the accelerated fatigue test described in this part.
This part is not applicable to vulcanized rubber with a hardness of more than 85 IRHD.
