Scope
This part of GB/T 1687 specifies the general principles of flexure tests and the related terms and their definitions.
Flexure tests are suitable for predicting the durability of rubber products (such as tires, rubber bearings, rubber supports, V-belts, and rope pulley insertion rings) when they are subjected to dynamic flexure. However, due to the significant differences in the usage conditions of rubber products, it cannot be assumed that there is a simple correlation between their usage characteristics and the accelerated fatigue tests specified in various parts of GB/T 1687.
