Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements and test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of extreme-pressure lithium-based grease made by thickening mineral lubricating oil with lithium soap of fatty acids and adding antioxidant and extreme-pressure additives. The products covered by this standard are suitable for lubricating high-load mechanical equipment bearings and gears with operating temperatures ranging from -20 ℃ to 120 ℃, and can also be used in centralized lubrication systems.
