Scope

本标准规定了用于无缝钢管和埋弧焊除外的焊接钢管纵向和/或横向缺欠的全圆周自动超声横波（由常规或相控阵技术产生）检测的要求。
除非采购方在合同中特别要求，否则采用的方法一般是纵向缺欠的检测。
在进行纵向缺欠检测时，制造商也可自行决定采用兰姆波进行检测。
对于无缝管，由供需双方协商同意，本标准的检测原理可以用于检测其他方向的缺欠。
本标准适用于外径不小于6 mm且外径与壁厚之比不小于5的钢管的超声检测。对于外径与壁厚之比小于5的钢管纵向缺欠检测见附录A。
圆形空心部件的检测可参照本标准执行，手动超声波检测可参照本标准执行。
