Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles for calculating energy savings in coal-fired industrial boilers and kilns, the principles for determining the energy conversion factor to standard coal, the project boundaries, the calculation of energy savings, the testing methods for relevant parameters, and the evaluation methods for energy savings. This standard is applicable to the calculation and evaluation of energy savings in energy-saving technical transformation projects for coal-fired industrial boilers and kilns (hereinafter referred to as "projects"). The calculation of energy savings for new-built projects and management projects can also be used for reference.
