Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, structural types and dimensions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of thin-walled stainless steel compression-type and groove-type pipe fittings.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of pipe fittings for thin-walled stainless steel pipelines with a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa and a nominal size not exceeding DN300, used for conveying domestic water (cold water, hot water), drinking water, medical gases, compressed air, inert gases, gas, fuel, etc.
