Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of waterproofing membranes made of petroleum asphalt and fiberglass (referred to as asphalt-fiberglass membranes). This standard applies to waterproofing membranes made of fiberglass felt as the base layer, coated with petroleum asphalt, and covered with isolation materials on both sides.
