Scope

This guidance technical document specifies the general requirements for reliability verification tests of plastic-enclosed circuit breakers (referred to as plastic-enclosed circuit breakers). This guidance technical document applies to plastic-enclosed circuit breakers that comply with GB 14048.2—2001, operate at AC 50Hz (60 Hz), have a rated voltage of no more than 1,000V, and a rated current of 250A or less. In addition to verification test plans and procedures, this guidance technical document also applies to reliability determination tests of products. This guidance technical document can be used as a guidance document for plastic-enclosed circuit breaker manufacturers to conduct product reliability tests. The reliability tests for plastic-enclosed circuit breakers with a rated current of more than 250A can be conducted in accordance with this standard.
