Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the general requirements for reliability verification tests of plastic-shell circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as plastic-shell circuit breakers). This guidance technical document specifies the reliability test methods for plastic-shell circuit breakers that comply with GB 14048.2-2008, operate at AC 50 Hz (60 Hz), have a rated voltage of no more than 1,000 V, and a rated current of 250 A or less. This guidance technical document is applicable to the verification test plans and test procedures for plastic-shell circuit breakers, as well as to the reliability determination tests of products. This guidance technical document can be used as a guidance document for plastic-shell circuit breaker manufacturers to conduct product reliability tests. The reliability tests for plastic-shell circuit breakers with a rated current of more than 250 A can be conducted in accordance with this guidance technical document.
