This part of GB/T 37820 specifies the use of safety and fire control diagram signs on ships, and provides guidance on their location, size, graphic symbols, and supplementary text for correct use to provide additional directional information. This part does not apply to the low-installation lighting systems (or components of such systems) specified in ISO 15370.
