Scope
This standard specifies the types, dimensions, tolerances, technical requirements, inspection and testing requirements for polytetrafluoroethylene-coated gaskets used in steel pipe flanges in the petrochemical industry. This standard applies to the manufacture and acceptance of polytetrafluoroethylene-coated gaskets used in steel pipe flanges specified in SH/T 3406 "Steel Pipe Flanges for Petrochemical Industry", with a nominal pressure of less than or equal to PN50 (Class 300) and an operating temperature of less than or equal to 150°C.
