Scope

This document specifies the acceptance sampling system for batch-by-batch measurement sequential sampling inspection plans. These acceptance sampling plans are retrieved based on a series of Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) values, ranging from 0.01 to 10, which are defined according to the percentage of non-conforming products. When using this document, it is necessary to ensure that the production process is stable (in a statistically controlled state). The purpose of the acceptance sampling plans in this document is to impose economic and psychological pressure on the manufacturer by rejecting poor batches, thereby encouraging them to maintain the average quality level of the process below the specified AQL, while providing an upper limit to the probability of the user receiving poor batches. These acceptance sampling plans are applicable to continuous series batches, i.e., batches with a length sufficient to allow the use of the transfer rules in Chapter 6. These transfer rules are: --- - Once quality deterioration is detected, enhance protection for the user by transferring to enhanced inspection or suspending sampling inspection; - If the quality has been consistently good, in order to reduce inspection costs, it is appropriate to transfer to relaxed inspection to provide incentives for the manufacturer, as determined by the responsible department according to the transfer rules. The sampling plans in this document are designed under the condition that all the following requirements are met.
