This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of high-tear strength and high-tensile strength silicone rubber compounds. This standard applies to high-tear strength (Type H ≥ 45 kN/m, Type M ≥ 35 kN/m) and high-tensile strength (Type H ≥ 10 MPa, Type M ≥ 8 MPa) silicone rubber compounds.
