Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the tensile stress-strain properties of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the properties of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, definite elongation under stress, elongation under definite stress, tensile stress at yield point, and elongation at yield point. Among them, the measurement of tensile stress and strain at yield point is only applicable to certain thermoplastic rubbers and some other rubber materials.
Note: If necessary, the determination of elongation at break and permanent deformation can also be added.
