Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of the bending and vibration of alpine skis, and describes the test conditions, instruments and equipment, samples, test steps, test data processing, and test reports for determining the natural frequency and half-life of alpine skis after they are clamped in the area where the bindings are installed and flex and vibrate at the front.
This document is applicable to alpine skis with a nominal length of 150 cm and above (hereinafter referred to as "skis").
