Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements, markings, labels, and user manuals for small electric high-pressure washers.
This standard applies to commercial and household small electric high-pressure washers (hereinafter referred to as "washers") that are driven by electric motors and used for jet cleaning operations with a conveying medium of room-temperature clean water or a cleaning agent mixture with a kinematic viscosity of no more than 45 mm2/s, free of particles, and non-corrosive.
This standard does not apply to washers used in special environments, such as flammable and explosive environments, environments with toxic and harmful gases, and radioactive environments.
