Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, hazard categories, evaluation requirements, and control measures for the light radiation of active lighting components (hereinafter referred to as "illuminators") in video surveillance systems.
This standard applies to the development, installation, maintenance, and use of illuminators such as LEDs and xenon lamps with an emission wavelength of 200 nm to 1,400 nm. Other types of illuminators can refer to this standard for implementation.
