Scope

This standard specifies the basic training requirements for imparting the necessary knowledge to personnel assigned to control and manage crane lifting operations. This standard does not apply to the additional training required for personnel who control and manage dangerous goods or lifting operations in hazardous environments.
Note 1: The responsibilities during the execution of tasks are specified in GB/T 23723.1.
Note 2: The training for drivers (operators), riggers, and command personnel is described in GB/T 23720.1 and GB/T 23721, respectively.
