Scope

The present part of DB31/T 329 stipulates the design and construction requirements for the safety technical prevention system of centralized storage places for dangerous chemicals and radioactive isotopes in Shanghai, as well as the requirements for review, inspection, acceptance, and maintenance.
The present part applies to the safety technical prevention system of centralized storage places for dangerous chemicals and radioactive isotopes.
The renovation and expansion of existing centralized storage places for dangerous chemicals and radioactive isotopes shall be carried out in accordance with the present part.
The safety technical prevention systems for explosive precursors, radioactive materials, nuclear substances, and dangerous chemicals used in national defense scientific research and production shall be implemented in accordance with the present part.
The present part does not apply to the non-public security prevention of storage places, nor to the safety prevention of dangerous chemicals and radioactive isotopes in production, transportation, and use.
