Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters, requirements, and test methods for the accuracy of pointer quartz clocks (hereinafter referred to as "quartz clocks").
This standard applies to pointer quartz table clocks and wall clocks with a crystal oscillator frequency of 32,768 Hz and a nominal voltage of DC 1.5 V. The pointer quartz clock movements can also be used as a reference.
This standard does not apply to the following quartz clocks:
——Clocks specifically used on aircraft, ships, vehicles, and other equipment;
——Clocks that are compatible with other products;
——Radio-controlled clocks.
