Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for pointer quartz clocks (hereinafter referred to as quartz clocks). This standard applies to pointer quartz clocks equipped with quartz resonators and a nominal operating voltage of DC1.50 V. Quartz clock movements and other timing devices using such movements can also be used as a reference for this standard.
