Scope
This standard specifies the safety technical requirements for gas-fired appliances, the safety technical requirements for connecting hoses used with gas-fired appliances, the safety technical requirements for indoor gas facilities, the environmental protection technical requirements for gas-fired appliances, test methods, and the special requirements for safety facilities in the installation and use locations of gas-fired appliances.
This standard applies to household and commercial gas-fired appliances that use urban gas in accordance with GB/T 13611 as an energy source, as well as the connecting hoses and indoor gas facilities used with them.
This standard does not apply to gas-fired appliances designed for specific purposes and industrial gas-fired appliances.
This standard is an additional requirement necessary for the safety and environmental protection aspects of related products on the basis of their mandatory product standards. This standard should be used in conjunction with the mandatory provisions in applicable related product standards and construction codes.
