This standard specifies the colorimetric spectrophotometric method for determining methanol in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of methanol in surface water, groundwater, and wastewater in Shanxi Province. When the detection optical path is 20 mm, the detection limit of the method in this standard is 0.29 mg/L, and the determination limit is 1.16 mg/L.
