Scope

This standard specifies the basic contents and requirements for the acceptance of distributed control systems (DCS) in thermal power plants, including factory acceptance and on-site recovery tests.
This standard applies to newly built or upgraded DCS of units with a single-machine capacity of 300 MW or more. DCS of units with other capacities can also be used as a reference.
This standard does not involve conducting destructive tests of any kind.
