Scope

This part of GB/T 33540 specifies the product varieties and markings, requirements and test methods, inspection rules, labels, packaging, transportation, and storage of gear oils for wind turbine gearboxes, which are formulated by adding various types of functional additives to synthetic oils as the base oil. This part is applicable to gear oils used in the gear transmission systems of wind turbines, including the main gearbox, yaw reduction gearbox, and pitch reduction gearbox. The products covered by this part are particularly suitable for lubricating low-temperature wind turbine gearboxes.
