Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, grading, testing devices, preparation for testing, air tightness testing, water tightness testing, wind pressure resistance testing, and testing reports for the air tightness, water tightness, and wind pressure resistance performance of external doors and windows in buildings. This standard applies to the grading and laboratory testing of the air tightness, water tightness, and wind pressure resistance performance of external windows and doors in buildings. The testing objects are limited to the door and window specimens themselves, and do not involve the sealing areas between the doors and windows and other structures.
