Scope
This part of GB/T 38048 is applicable to wet cleaning appliances used for cleaning carpets at home and for similar purposes. This part is not applicable to steam cleaning appliances.
The purpose of this part is to:
——specify the basic performance characteristics of wet cleaning appliances;
——describe the testing methods for these performance characteristics; and
——supplement the testing methods for IEC 60312-1 dry vacuum cleaners.
