This part of GB/T 38051 specifies the performance test methods for household electric cookers.
The appliances covered by this part can be built-in or placed on the worktop to operate. The cooktop can also be part of an electric stove.
This part does not apply to portable electrical appliances for cooking, barbecuing, and other similar functions (see IEC 61817).
This part specifies the main performance characteristics of cooktops that are of interest to users and defines the measurement methods for these performance characteristics.
This part does not specify the classification or ranking of performance levels.
