Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as packaging, storage, transportation, marking, and quality certificates for silicon-chromium alloys. This standard applies to silicon-chromium alloys used as reducing agents and alloying agents in steelmaking and casting, and as reducing agents in the refining of chromium iron.
